It first began with the <a title=\"Huffington Post article on investigation\" href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2012\/03\/22\/trayvon-martin-case-george-zimmerman-bill-lee_n_1371635.html\" target=\"_blank\">mismanagement of the investigation<\/a>. There was an immediate presumption of innocence for Zimmerman and an assumption of guilt for Martin. The fact that<span>\u00a0<\/span>that <a title=\"Los Angeles Times report on Martin case\" href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/nation\/nationnow\/la-na-nn-trayvon-martin-20120322,0,5134913,full.story\" target=\"_blank\">tests for drugs and other substances<\/a> were conducted on Martin and not Zimmerman\u00a0 also reflects the focus of the investigation being biased against Martin.<\/p>\n<p>Sanford, Fla., Investigator Chris Serino\u00a0wanted to file manslaughter charges against Zimmerman after the investigation of the incident on the day it occurred but <a title=\"ABC News investigation of possible charges for Zimmerman\" href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/trayvon-martin-investigator-wanted-charge-george-zimmerman-manslaughter\/story?id=16011674#.T3TDM9V-H3B\" target=\"_blank\">was told not to<\/a> by Norman Wolfinger, the State Attorney.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not surprising that there was a shoddy and incomplete investigation of the murder of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla. The town has a history (as does most of America ) of unconstrained, unchastened violence towards Blacks. The New York Times reports on several instances of <a title=\"New York Times article on racism in Sanford, Florida\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2012\/03\/22\/us\/police-chief-draws-fire-in-trayvon-martin-shooting.html\" target=\"_blank\">anti-black violence<\/a>. In fact, the current police chief, Ben Lee (who has temporarily stepped down as chief) obtained his job after the former police chief, Brian Tooley, lost the job because of the shoddy investigation of an <a title=\"ABC New Report on Assault by policeman's son\" href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/GMA\/police-lieutenants-son-investigated-attacking-homeless-man\/story?id=12507834#.T3UsRNV-H3A\" target=\"_blank\">assault on a Black man<\/a> by a Sanford police officer\u2019s son. Not too surprising, Norman Wolfinger, the State Attorney who declined to charge Zimmerman is quoted back in 2010 as saying &#8220;It depends on what we see once we&#8217;re done, but you know the ones that obviously come to light in the video perhaps are battery, things like that, perhaps assault, felony battery\u2026&#8221; Once you see the video, once you realize that this guy Wolfinger is still saying we have to see, you will understand that the lack of concern is not too different that the cold, cruel, heartlessness of the wickedly sadistic slaveholders of old.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The makings of a cover up began almost immediately after the death of Trayvon Martin.
